lauren lake is an assistant professor at the university of florida. she received her BA from the university of florida and her MFA from the university of wisconsin- madison. lauren garber lake’s work has been exhibited throughout the united states and abroad. lake was the recipient of the southeastern college art conference excellence in teaching award in 2007 and the university of florida college of fine arts teaching award in 2009. she resides in gainesville, florida.
